It’s Friday, so time for just a few of our favourite things that we’ve stumbled across this week in the world of art, design and branding.
Looking for a comfier mouse experience? Intriguing use of materials in Joey Roth’s felt, teak and aluminium mouse, which was shown at NY Design Week, I’d love to try it out. I’m not sure you’d get the same satisfying click sensation that you get from a traditional mouse, but it would provide more of a ‘soft furnishing’ look to the workstation, and would definitely help with sweaty hand syndrome. Gastronomista could possibly be our new favourite blog, because where else could I have stumbled across typography made from biscuits, and stencils for making more interesting designs on top of your cappuccino

Finally, we were quite excited by these fantastic hand-stitched Vogue covers by Inge Jacobsen – I can’t decide if I prefer the front or the back, which becomes something much more abstract. Again, another nice find from Today and Tomorrow
